==== Workers’ rights in human rights system, national labour law / social protection and scope of protection ====

Workers’ rights in Eswatini are governed through:

  * The Constitution
  * Employment legislation
  * Labour and industrial relations frameworks

These frameworks generally provide for:

  * Regulation of employment relationships
  * Basic labour protections
  * Recognition of workers’ rights

However, protection and enforcement remain more effective in the formal sector than in the informal economy.

----

==== Existing laws, policy and regulatory initiatives for the protection of workers in the informal economy ====

Eswatini relies primarily on:

  * General labour law frameworks
  * Wage regulation
  * Sectoral employment protections

Specific targeted protection for informal workers remains limited.
